Review guidelines
Every post is read by a person before it appears. Here is what we publish, what we send back, and how to keep your name off the page.
What we publish
- Reviews from people who actually built the kit, good or bad. A one-star review with photos is worth more to everyone than a vague five-star one.
- Build videos, work-in-progress shots and finished photos. Footage of missing or broken parts is welcome.
- Specifics: part fit, instruction clarity, sticker quality, how long it took, what you would tell someone before they buy.
What we send back
- Posts with no build behind them, shipping complaints, price arguments, or reviews of a kit you have not opened. Use contact us for order problems instead; that reaches us faster.
- Anything with another person's face or personal details in it without their say-so, and anything filmed with a child identifiable in frame.
- Abuse, slurs, spam, affiliate links, or copied text from another site.
- Incentivised posts. We never pay for reviews, and we reject anything that looks arranged.
Your name is your choice
Tick "post without my name" and your review publishes as Anonymous builder. Your name still reaches us so we can match the post to an order and confirm you bought the kit. It is never shown, never sold, and never included in the public data. Location is optional and city-level only.
Changed your mind after posting? Message us and we will hide your name or take the review down.
Verified buyer badge
Add your order number and we check it against the store before publishing. Reviews without one still go live; they just do not carry the badge.
Editing and removal
We do not edit the wording of a review. We either publish it, or we tell you why we did not. If you want your own review changed or removed, ask us and it is done, it is yours.
Replies from the team
A reply from us appears under a review in its own block. We reply to fix things, not to argue with a rating.
